Dua
Dua Lipa is an English artist/singer from London United Kingdom on August 22nd, 1995. The singer-songwriter signed to Warner Bros Records in 2014 after working as a model. She launched her self-titled debut album in the year 2017. The album climbed to No. three on the U.K. Charts. The album had eight singles that were released, including Be the One I.D.G.A.F., and New Rules. In the United States it peaked as number 6. The album, which has now been recognized as Platinum in several countries across the world was awarded the two Brit Awards (in the year of 2018) for British female single artist as well as British Breakthrough artist. Dua Lipa was born at the age of 18 in London with Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin lilipa (father). By way of her maternal grandparents Dua Lipa, she is Bosnian. It is also possible to trace her ancestry to Peja within Kosovo. The two grandfathers of Lipa were historians. She is a sister to Rina Lipa and a younger brother named Gjin. Lipa was heavily influenced by music by her father who was the lead singer and guitarist of Oda, the Kosovan rock group Oda.
